Orkney based Highland Park introduces a new look to their core whisky range with a refined wordmark and simplified label, keeping the iconic shaped bottle that is so familiar. I have a fond affinity with Highland Park as it was the first whisky I properly tried and got into when discovering whiskies beyond my Grandad's basic blended whisky collection. I've had a Highland Park 15 and 18 at vary times and remember enjoying a Burns Night dinner with the brand many moons ago.
The new branding and label gives Highland Park a softer atmosphere about them – probably trying to be more appealing to a wider (younger) audience. It gives the whisky a state of understated luxury which is becoming more popular with British brands. I'm glad they've kept the same bottle shape as that's a differential that stands them out.
Highland Park 12
Flavour Profile
As invigorating as the Orkney breeze. Fresh, clean and floral on the nose, with heathered honey and a touch of citrus. Sweet and spicy on the palate, with toasty notes of burnt orange, jasmine and fruitcake. A long finish with peppery spice, woody notes and orange zest, and the subtle, aromatic kick of smoke that you only get from Orkney heathered peat.

Highland Park 15
Flavour Profile
Lively, bright and always surprising. Fresh, floral and spicy on nose, leading to warm vanilla, pineapple and zesty citrus on the palate. The finish is mellow, with delicate vanilla, toasty spice and a gentle hit of aromatic smoke from our Orkney heathered peat.

Highland Park 18
Deep and intensely fruity but effortlessly smooth, Highland Park 18 is our most highly awarded (and dearly beloved) whisky, and for good reason. With a natural glowing amber colour straight from the cask, it’s a multi-layered whisky with many stories to tell—just like the people who make it.
Flavour Profile
A fan favourite for a reason. Rich, fruity, caramelised sweetness on the nose, followed by finely balanced notes of orange zest, dark chocolate and aromatic smoke from our Orkney heathered peat on the palate. The finish is lingering, sweet and spicy with slightly nutty notes.
