Crown Northampton make a range of unique leather accessories made from off-cuts from their luxury shoe making that include card holders, wallet and glasses case. Featuring off-cut leathers of Shell Cordovan and Chromexcel that are used in their production of luxury sneakers, these one-of-a-kind pieces are made to order, and are currently only available with a purchase of of of Crown Northampton shoes or sneakers.

The Horween Chromexcel card holder features seven two-tone colour options and one full-colour option, utilising the off-cuts from the Crown Northampton clicking room. You can also request specific colourways for the Chromexcel card holder, if a particular colour is available in their archive. The portrait card holder holds up to 6 cards in three pockets. I have one and currently hold my debit and credit cards, and Arts Fund card along with a couple of business cards.

I admire Crown Northampton doing this collection of off-cuts. However, I think it would be even better if it was open to general purchase, rather than just available to those who purchase a pair of their shoes. It of course, continues to exclusivity of the products, and lets you aim to match these accessories to your shoes. However, the accessories might end up being used more and garner a nice patina through its use, as well as outlive the shoes.
